We are excited to announce the successful relocation executed by our OMA member Pickfords in collaboration with the Dietetics department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, part of NHS Grampian!
The Dietetics department provides essential health and well-being services across the Grampian region.
The requirement of the project was to secure relocation of patient records and office equipment from Rosehill House to the main hospital site.
Active case notes required careful labeling and accessibility. Emergency access procedures were established with the NHS Dietetics team.
The relocation was executed in two phases:
– Sequential packing and moving of case notes and office equipment.
– Further packing, moving, and unpacking of case notes, and relocating full filing cabinets to ensure security and reduce costs.
All crates were lidded, security sealed, and audited. Precautions were taken to prevent property damage.
The team adhered to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary’s site rules, including health and safety protocols, bespoke COVID-19 measures, alarms, fire precautions, and designated entry/exit points.
Pickfords’ successfully relocated the department without any losses or disruptions, completing the project on time.
Congratulations to Pickfords’ team for their hard work and dedication!
