We are a partnership of successful and financially sound commercial relocation companies. OMA was founded in the USA in 2007 by a select group of likeminded market leaders in the commercial relocation industry. In order to be able to service customers globally it started looking for members in other regions of the world. OMA Europe objective is to have a dedicated strategy for this region, to better answer to the local challenges.
The Office Moving Alliance is founded in the USA by 16 members
The idea is to build a network of likeminded office move companies, in order to be able to provide nation-wide services to large accounts.
The Alliance expands its global reach
The Alliance expands its global reach with its two first European members: AMT in France and Pickfords in the UK. This is how OMA Europe was born, with the objective to gather local experts adapt their offer to each European country’s specificity.
The Netherlands joins OMA Europe
Mondial Movers, operating in the Netherlands, joins OMA Europe. Leader in its country, it brings a solid experience in building successful networks of companies. Indeed, it was founded in 1991 by 8 companies which wanted to gather their resources in order to better serve their customers. Nowadays, it counts 19 shareholders and 25 offices in the Netherlands.
Henri Harsch HH SA, operating in Switzerland, joins OMA
It brings a new type of expertise to the network, thanks to its 60 year experience in fine art transport and storage.
Two new European members
Two new European members join OMA: Universal Express, operating in Poland and Hertling, operating in Germany.
